Central Dauphin SD Adds Network Access Control

A region in middle Pennsylvania has select a network access manage appliance from Impulse Point to enable it to control strategy on a latest wireless network.

Central Dauphin School District has chosen Safe Connect to power users to validate with a username & password before gaining network contact & to comply with other area computing rules. The deployment comes on the heels of a growth of the district's bring-your-own-device plan.

We looked at other vendors, but Safe Connect became the plain option based on its simplicity of implementation & management and on our budget," said Matthew Snoopily, leader of technology services. "The easiest element of this total progression was setting up the technology.

 Because Safe Connect is so flexible, we can carry on latest mobile & wireless devices with just a little command to the router. Those are the large things that stood out to us.

According to snoopily, the region also required to unify management of the network to be talented to verify that students were tapping wireless resources for learning use just.
